Mentors of Focus: Officer’s Meeting

I. New Members

A. How many do we have? (One signed up & has not returned – Steve Rebagliati)

1. Maybe Roxanne can send follow-up e-mail to him – if he has any questions, etc.

B. What can we do to help recruiting?

1. Implement Roxanne’s new member packet

2. Place flyers at our companies – encourage co-workers to visit as a guest

3. Oregonlive.com link – place VP of Membership as contact – Darlene has a contact

4. New member contest

5. May put more emphasis on recruiting in the fall and winter months – summer seems to be slow

6. New Member Manual

a) Several have been purchased and available for new members to use immediately – they just need to return their new copy when they receive it.

C. Voting in of members

1. May be done by e-mail – for protection of the club

2. Most other clubs practice this

3. Alexis will check

II. Officer roles

A. Checking into job sharing of VP Education

B. Herb is handing the baton to Cathleen – they will coordinate the month of the August.

III. Next Officer’s meeting – 3rd week of August 20th.
