MENTORS OF FOCUS OFFICER’S MEETING

ATTENDEES: Alexis Halmy, Scott Stevenson, Herb Yamamoto, Roxanne Christenson, Signe Buckland, Darlene Stephens, Christine Smith

 

Highlights & Action Items

 

  1. (3) new members...we should target additional 7 new members
  2. We need to begin to emphasize member retention...some vehicles we can use are the mentor system, fun meetings, exit survey, etc..

 

 

Action Items

 

  1. Develop mentor process

(1)  Provide training via CL Speech (Alexis)

(2) Solicit club members to be mentors or "buddies" (Alexis)

 

  1. New Membership Drive

(1)  Initiate "bring a friend month in October"  (Roxanne)

(2) Market TM at In-Focus via Intra-net (Alexis)

 

  1. Implement Ballot System

(1)  Add "Ballot Counter" to active meeting roles (Alexis...can you take ball on 3-1 and 3-2?)

(2) Modify Agenda to reflect (Scott)

(3) Modify Schedule File to reflect (Scott...can you update?...I don't want to mess up cells)

 

  1. Place Successful Club Series materials in mtg room

(1)  Give materials to Roxanne to take to next mtg...Herb not attending (Herb)

(2) Purchase filer at Office Depot (Christine)

 

  1. Update member and guest name badges.  Christine will look into materials and costs and report back to the Executive Committee by next meeting (or before)
