Officer’s Meeting

I. Treasurer’s report

A. Account balance: $226.46 (not including $30 check that needs to be deposited)

II. Christmas party

A. What would be the best date?

1. December 17^th would work best

B. How much can we spend?

1. At least $100, possibly more if we plan to sign up a few people

2. Should count on 25-30

3. Possibilities include Baja Fresh, Thriftway, Bon Appetit, or Kelly Sinclair to cater (Alexis will contact her).

4. Goal is to sign up new members

C. Format of the day; shorter mini-meeting

1. Roxanne can serve as general evaluator and also evaluate both speeches in order to save time.

2. Scott is scheduled to speak and can skip if we need more time.

D. Room set-up should be done by Signe (Sgt at Arms) as she should be ale to attend by then. If not, we will ask for a volunteer.

III. Club Status

A. We have achieved DCP (Distinguished Club). We only need to keep our membership 20 and above.

B. We can achieve Select Distinguished Club if we have 2 more people achieve their CTM (Certified Toastmaster) by the end of the fiscal year (June 2004).

C. We will achieve President’s Distinguished Club if we get an additional CL or ATM or both. If we can accomplish all of these objectives, we will be able to obtain 10 of 10 DCP objectives for the 2^nd year in a row!!

IV. Action items:

A. Roxanne will look into the catering offered by Thriftway

B. Alexis will contact Kelly Sinclair to see if she can cater the Christmas party
