Attendees: Scott Stevenson, Cathey Armillas, Shannon McCandlish
· OFFICER ROLES
o Secretary: Due to health issues and work pressure, it has been difficult for Rachel to handle her Secretary duties.
§ Recommendation is to talk to Michelle about taking over as either Club Secretary or Co-secretary. [completed]
o Sergeant-at-Arms: Traditionally, we have had someone working within IFC to fill this role – only Fang Wei still works at IFC
§ Action: Scott will talk to Ted about sharing this role with Dyanne for meeting setup. [completed]
o President: Due to Shannon’s imminent success with her job search, and the low probability that her new employer will be in this area, we need to find a replacement for her as President. Herb Yamamoto has agreed to step up and will take over on January 1, 2006. [completed]
o VP Membership: Alexis Halmy is also in the job-search market. Action: Scott to check to see if we need to consider a replacement for Alexis as VP Membership.
· OPEN HOUSE
o Start Open House Committee; recruit our new Mentor members to be on the committee
o Need to plan the “demo meeting” agenda soon.
o Action: Cathey to advertise on Craig’s List about Club and the Open House [completed]
o Open House on January 25, 2006 – consider a gift card as a rewards
o Action: Scott to send Cathey entire inventory of flyers
· TLI
o Announce TLI (Jan 7) at every meeting; try to get 100% club turnout at TLI. [completed]
· HOLIDAY PARTY [completed]
o Set December 21st as holiday party (coffee, snacks); Shannon to pick up cheese cake; Fang Wei to get coffee from IFC provider; Shannon to get plastic ware.
o Consider this as a mini-open house; bring a friend!
