1. Membership Drive Program

 * Duration:  5 weeks...1/18 to 2/22

 * Goals:  10 visitors by club; 3 by each team 

* Team: Mixed groups - mixed officers & members (see Table I)

2. Officer's Training

• Mentors of Focus had 3 Officers trained on Jan 7^th at the District 7 TLI, but we need a total of 4 officers trained by Feb 28, 2006 to count towards achieving the Club DCP Goal #9.
• The next Officers training will be held at the Frog Pond Church, here in Wilsonville on Feb 18, 2006. Starts at 9AM, but should only last 1 hour.

 

3. "Competent Leadership" Speeches

• New Members should be receiving the new CL manuals now. There will be 10 Projects that will also include the meeting roles as a project. Scott, Herb, and Alexis will talk about the new manual and recognition tracks in February.
• The Officers will need to get acquainted with what is in this manual incase you are asked by the new Members.

 

·       OFFICERS:

 Action:

• Herb will open today’s club meeting to talk about the Membership Drive, and the prizes that will award.
  • The Blazer Tickets will expire on Feb 26, 2006. So the plan is to award (2) prizes to the team(s) that get most people to join by Feb 22, 2006. There will be (2) Blazer Tickets and (2) Movie Tickets award. Each Officer that is leading the team will be sending an email to their team to start the dialogue.
  • Herb will also talk with Alexis to see if she could head up the Open House that we want to do. Cathey still has the Open House flyers from the last time. We may go with these flyers or come up with new ones.

 

 Action: 

• Cathey will attend the Officers training on Feb 18, 2006.
• She will also gather up the flyers from the last Open House & bring them to the next Officers Meeting (TBA).

 

 Action:

• Michele checked with the District 7 Calendar for 2005-2006, and it lists the times for the Officers Training on Feb 18, 2006 as:

 

D7 Leadership Club: 8:00 am to 8:45 am

District Meeting:        9:00 am to Noon

 

• Michele will double check the time with Scott and let Cathey know.
• Michele will confirm with Scott about the new CL manual in relations to the club roles and the projects.

 

Action:

• Scott recommended that we have the Open House on the 1st week of March instead of during the Membership Drive, just keep each action item separate & less confusing.
• If we have 20 active members by April 1, 2006, we will have the necessary membership to be qualified to participate in the Distinguished Club Program.
• Scott also suggests that we have an Officers meeting every 2 weeks, because we will need the time to plan the Open House and take care of any other issues that come up.

• The Officers voted to have the Open House on the 1^st week of March as a target date.

Action:

• No other discussion on when we will have The next Officers meeting. A decision will Need to be made soon on this.
