1: Goals for the Club Success Plan

#7 goals are completed. We will need 1 more member by June 20, 2007 to complete #8.

We didn’t have an Action plan on this one, but we are hoping that the Open House will have new members signing up.

2. Discussed the Logistics for the Open House for next Wednesday

We discussed who should who should be the Toastmaster, General Evaluator, and who the Table Topic Speakers should be. The speeches should only be 7 minutes long or a total of 15 minutes for (2) speeches. We decided to give a $10.00 gift certificate from Star Bucks for people who sign up as a members before April 1, 2007. New members $26.00 + $45.00 for membership for 6 months = $71.00. We voted on what the refreshments to provided at the Open House, and then we discussed how to arrange the meeting room.

Action: The Toastmaster will be Scott Stevenson instead of Bob Krynak, just because this will be our Open House & we wanted to place our experience members for this important meeting. Scott will also serve as the General Evaluator. Kristine will be the Table Topics Master & she will be asking just (2) questions related to the Benefits of Toastmasters. Cathey Armillas & Bob Krynak will be called to give the benefits they’ve received from Toastmasters. Our Sergeant At Arms – Kristine will make sure that we have 38 guest packets. Kristine will also purchase 30-40 Valentine Cookies. The Coffee/Tea – she will get from the In Focus cafeteria.  Dan volunteered on bringing the sugar/creamers, and tea bags.

3. Membership drive/ways to attract new members.

Action:     We decided that we would implement the Survey Monkey, once we started getting new members.

*The very last comment before we all dispersed …

MOF: Everyone is to greet the people at the Open House.
